One way to help sales and marketing get along this year is to have marketing treat sales as their customer and vice versa. And as Brian Carroll says, it starts with the CEO.

We've also seen that if we get our sales reps involved with the marketing process, it helps close the gap as well. We have emails sent out in the sales reps names and we'll have lead gen call the leads as part of our nurturing program.

Great post Kim this is very sound advice! Resolutions 1-4 will be really important points to stick to through the year and the last one ....well its an on going feud which marketing and sales have learn to resolve.
